Hyderabad: Actor turned leader Venu Madhav faced a bitter experience on Friday in Kodad Assembly segment. Venu, who has decided to contest as an independent candidate from Kodad, went to the office of Returning Officer to file his nomination papers.
However, the officials in the RDO office told him that his nomination papers were incomplete and asked him to submit another nomination form after filling all the relevant details. Following this, the actor decided to submit another set of nomination papers before the deadline on November 19.
He told media persons that he would visit the RO office once again either on Saturday and file his nomination papers from the seat. He made it clear he had entered into political field with the sole objective of serving the people of the state. Venumadhav did his schooling in Kodada and became a mimicry artist in the same town.
