Hyderabad: A GHMC contract employee died after a lorry struck his motorbike down at Kattedan on Wednesday.
According to the Mailardevpally police, O Ramesh, 40, was on his way from Durga Nagar to Kattedan for work, when a speeding lorry rammed his bike, leaving him dead on the spot, police said.
The driver of the lorry has been arrested and the body has been shifted to Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

The sanitation workers is from Rajendranagar Circle he is an outsourcing employee after hearing the news Sri Dana Kishore, Commissioner, GHMC has visited and consoled the family members in the morning and the insurance amount of Rs. 6 lakhs has also been handed over to the family members by the Commissioner.
As a mark of respect 2 minutes silence has been observed in the meeting held today by the Commissioner and all the senior officials of the GHMC. (NSS)
