Hyderabad: City mayor Dr.B. Rammohan, and deputy mayor Baba Fasiuddin, and GHMC commissioner Dr.B.Janardhan Reddy, has conveyed their best wishes to the citizens on the occasion of Eidul Fitar (Ramzan).
The Mayor appealed to the people to celebrate the festival to promote communal harmony and Religious Tolerance for which the City is known for. He further stated that the government has organized Dawat-e- Iftar and distributed clothes to the poor Muslims during the month of Ramzan and stated that lets all work together for overall development of the city.
Baba Fasiuddin, in his message to the citizens said that the festival of breaking the fast, rekindle in us the spirit of self control, promote unity and harmony and bring happiness, peace and prosperity to all the citizens on the occasion of Ramzan.
Dr.B.Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner, GHMC said that the entire World is ready to celebrate the holy festival of Ramzan which marks the culmination of the holy month of Ramzan to achieve inner purity through fasting, prayers and prayed for peace, happiness, prosperity to all sections of the society and to celebrate this auspicious festival as Swachh Edul Fitar without using any tupe of plastic material during the festival period as a start to make the plastic free city in the near future.(NSS)
