Hyderabad: Today GHMC Mosquito APP lucky draw taken up in City Convergence Meeting held in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate , Gachibowli and selected 10 winners from who answered all the 17 questions correctly in the Mosquito App. The lucky draw winners are shown below:

After Mosquito App lucky draw cheques of Rs. 10,000 to each winner are given to the previous Lucky Draw winners by the Commissioner, GHMC , Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, DCP of Cyberabad Police, Director of Vigilance & Enforcement , GHMC to the following winners: Nagender- Machabollarum, Alwal, K. In order to prevent vector borne diseases like Dengue, Malaria, Chikungunya and mosquito menace in Hyderabad, it is proposed to take up large scale awareness campaign to create awareness among people on mosquito control practices and mosquito borne diseases.
In this connection, Mosquito Application has been developed with 17 informative questions on Dengue, Malaria and Mosquito life cycle, breeding habits and source reduction methods etc. and launched on August 17, 2017. This is an innovative attempt to familiarize the public with mosquito control and preventive methods. This Mosquito APP is available on Play Store and can be downloaded easily.
Amongst participants who answer all questions correctly, lucky draw shall be taken for 10 members where Rs 10,000 shall be given under CSR to each lucky draw winner. This program shall motivate the citizens of Hyderabad to participate in this exercise in large number. So far, 3,59,165 people have downloaded the mosquito app among 2,41,052 people are answered all questions correctly. (NSS)
