Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan today expressed his deep sense of sorrow on the tragic demise of former MP and Head of GITAM Educational Institutions Dr MVVS Murthi in a car accident in the USA.
In a message, the Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
Higher officials, Directors, Deans, Faculty, Staff and students of GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, paid rich tributes to the departed souls of Dr MVVS Murthi, governing body member V. Basavapunnayya, former GITAM Faculty Prof. V. Sivaprasad and president’s Personal Secretary V.P.R. Chowday (Chinna) at Shivaji Auditorium on Wednesday. (NSS)
