Govt keen on uplifting poor in Upper Castes: KTR

Hyderabad: IT and Municipal Minister, KT Rama Rao today stated that even upper castes comprise poor people in the state and the government will do its best for their welfare.
Welcoming scores of people of Arya Vyshya community at Telangana Bhavan with traditional pink shawls, the TRS leader said that the ruling party was making efforts for allround development and inclusive growth. KTR said that the schemes will reach the unreached of all castes. The minister took a dig at the past governments for neglected development in the country for seven decades.

Even now thousands of villages lack power facility and the poor reeling under terror of poverty and misery, he pointed out. The Congress deceived Telangana in all sectors and we cannot explain its failure tactics. Andhra and Telangana were married forcefully and were separated after a prolonged struggle he said. He accused the congress of destroying the country and Telangana despite resources and ruthlessly killed its children by firing during 1969 fight for statehood. With no other option the Congress led UPA Government accorded statehood to Telangana he said.

In Telangana state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is coming up with unique schemes with long term objectives, KTR claimed. Besides completing irrigation projects with top priority and implementing flagship programs for reviving rural economy the government is for the cause of the poor in upper class too. We are spending more than Rs 40000 cr for welfare while the rest of the country is not doing so.
