The State government today issued orders sanctioning₹7.76 crores to the adopted village of the chief minister of the state KCR Vasalamarri.
The GO was issued in the name of the SC welfare department for the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu scheme.

Under the scheme, the state government will give ₹10 lakh each to Dalit families of the village. The GO was issued following a visit of the CM to the village on Wednesday.
The CM toured the Dalit colony of the village and interacted with the Dalit families of the colony. He found out their problems and promised to solve them.
