Minister of State for Road Transport and Shipping and Chemical & Fertilizers Shri Mansukh L Mandaviya said that Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is implementing the scheme of Institute of Driver Training and Research (IDTR). Proposals have been received from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Manipur, J&K, Jharkhand and Sikkim for setting up of these institutes, and the Ministry has sanctioned Institute of Driver Training and Research one each in these States.
