Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan, caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Speaker S Madhusudhan Chary, Council Chairman Swamy Goud and others today paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Ghat here.
The Governor and KCR reached the Ghat near Langar House and participated in the program to pay tributes to the father of the nation to mark 150th birth anniversary. Narasimhan, KCR placed flowers at the Bapu Ghat and offered obeisance. On the occasion, the government conducted an all-religious prayers by heads and priests and mullahs.
Caretaker Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahamood Ali, Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy, former Union Minister and BJP MP Bandaru Dattatraya, Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav, former MLAs, MLCs, Chief Secretary SK Joshi and leaders and officials were present.
