Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao on Saturday wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and urged him to appoint a new Governor to Telangana State in place of present Governor ESL Narasimhan.
In his letter, Rao alleged that the present governor had not taken any action on their representations urging his immediate interventions into serious issues like the suicides of 26 intermediate students, the rape of three girls at Hajipur and the use of third degree punishment by police against farmers of Khammam and other districts of the State.
