Senior IAS officer Hari Chandana Dasari officially assumed charge as the new District Collector of Hyderabad on Friday afternoon. A 2010-batch Indian Administrative Service officer, she succeeds Anudeep Durishetty, a 2018-batch officer who served in the post since July 2023.
Her appointment follows a significant bureaucratic reshuffle announced by the Telangana government on Thursday, which led to the transfer of 36 IAS officers across the state.
Before this assignment, Hari Chandana served as the Special Secretary in the Roads and Buildings Department. She has also previously held the position of District Collector in Nalgonda and Narayanpet districts, earning recognition for her administrative leadership.
