HC tells Govt : Don’t vacate local people from DevaraYamjal

Telangana High Court today directed that the state government should not vacate local people from the lands of the DevaraYamjal area on the city outskirts.

The high court has issued interim orders in this regard.

In his petition filed by a local P, Kishan Reddy complained that the government officials are threatening to demolish sheds and vacate them from the lands in the DevaraYamjal area.

He urged the court to instruct the Government and officials concerned to stop vacating them and do justice.

On this, the court reacted positively and gave orders in his favor. The court giving orders instructed the Government to stop vacating the people from that location.

The government informed the court that they are conducting an inquiry into the lands row and not vacating the locals from that area.
