HCA Forms Panel to Address Telangana Cricket Association’s Concerns

In a significant move regarding the affiliation of the Telangana Cricket Association (TCA), Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) President A. Jagan Mohan Rao announced on Thursday that a seven-member committee has been formed to address the concerns of the TCA.

“This is in compliance with the BCCI order dated 11.07.2021. The Apex Council of the HCA has appointed a seven-member sub-committee to understand and address the concerns of the Telangana Cricket Association (TCA),” the HCA chief stated.

He emphasized that this initiative reflects HCA’s commitment to resolving issues and fostering the growth of cricket in the region. “The HCA takes immense pride in these developments and remains dedicated to the advancement of cricket in Telangana,” he added.

In addition, the Apex Council has decided to felicitate Mr. R. Devraj, manager of the Indian team that recently won the ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai, along with fielding coach Mr. T. Dilip, for their invaluable contributions to the team’s success.

As a gesture of appreciation, the Apex Council has approved a cash award of Rs. 10 lakh each for Mr. Devraj and Mr. Dilip. However, Mr. Devraj has graciously declined the cash award.

This decision underlines HCA’s efforts to acknowledge and honor cricketing achievements while also strengthening administrative processes in the region.
