The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, has issued a heavy rainfall warning for Telangana as inclement weather conditions continue to grip the state. The forecast indicates that the current spell of rains will likely persist for another two to three days, affecting both urban and rural areas.
According to the IMD bulletin released on Wednesday, as many as 15 districts in Telangana have been placed under alert for heavy rainfall. These include Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Medak, and Kamareddy.
