High Court admits Congress petition on CLP merger into TRS

Hyderabad: The Congress has filed a petition in the Telangana High Court seeking its immediate intervention in the “illegal” merger of CLP into the ruling TRS party issue. TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka filed the petition in the court.

The HC has admitted the petition and told the petitioner that it would take up the hearing on the case next week. The Congress leaders have launched a Satyagraha and fast-unto-death deeksha protesting the merger of CLP into the TRS party at dharna Chowk. CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka launched his fast program. AICC State incharge RC Kuntia and TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and all party leaders took part  in the protest program and expressed their solidarity with the CLP leader. (NSS)
