Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court today granted conditional anticipatory bail to IT Grids CEO Ashok Dakavaram, the prime accused in the data theft case.
The High Court, after reviewing the petition, granted bail on the condition that he should appear before the Madhapur police station once a week and be present whenever called for further enquiry by the Special Investigation Team constituted to conduct inquiry into the data theft case.
It may be recalled that Ashok Dakavaram and his wife and company director Srilakshmi filed anticipatory bail petitions in the High Court after the 14th Additional Sessions Court in Ranga Reddy district dismissed the anticipatory bail applications of the accused on May 25. (NSS)
