Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd has initiated plantation of two lakh saplings during the year under “Gift a Smile Challenge” and “Telangana ku Harithaharam”.
As a part of it, MA&UD Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar and HMRL MD NVS Reddy planted saplings at Rasoolpura Metro station on Wednesday. Besides, the officers of HMRL and Urban Forestry Wing planted some 20,000 saplings at all Metro stations and Metro corridors, Forest blocks adopted at Gollur and Turakayamzal today. (NSS)
