Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday said they would register properties of 75 sq.yds area consisting G+1 for Re.1. He said they have made provisions for the same in the Municipal amendment Bill.
Taking part in the discussion held in the House over the Municipal Bill, the Chief Minister said they were bringing in the new amended Act to ensure corruption-free governance in the State. He also said the new law would also ensure establish1ment of a corrupt-free society. He also said they have provided civic services for the poor people in the municipalities in the proposed Act.
The CM also touched upon other issues as well. Recalling the words of father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, the Chief Minister said Gandhiji had dreamt of self-rule and empowerment of the villages in the country. He said there was a need to have an understanding about five year plans and added that they would train the MLAs on the issue of five year plan. (NSS)
