The Commissioner’s visit included a detailed inspection of the procession route, ensuring all logistical aspects were meticulously planned to guarantee a safe and seamless event. This procession holds significant cultural and religious importance, drawing large crowds annually.
Following the site visit, Commissioner Reddy convened a crucial meeting at the Purani Haveli office with police officials. In the meeting, he emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order during the Muharram observances. Instructions were issued regarding traffic diversions and parking management to minimize disruptions and ensure the safety of participants and spectators alike.
