Hyderabad Police concerned about Modi’s stay at the Raj Bhavan, following the Agnipath row

It has been raised by Hyderabad police that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stay at Raj Bhavan is causing concern ahead of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) national executive meeting.

Following the ongoing Agnipath protests, police officials have requested that the Special Protection Group (SPG) relocate the PM to Novotel Hotel to prevent any untoward incidents. In addition to the above point, Congress workers set siege to Raj Bhavan while protesting the summons that was sent to Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

A meeting is scheduled to take place at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) at the Novotel Hotel premises at Madhapur, which is where Modi will arrive. During a public meeting on July 3, he will address the crowd at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad.

A total of 10,000 BJP workers are working to ensure a smooth meeting and rally ahead of PM’s arrival. BJP is preparing to strengthen its position in Telangana ahead of 2023’s assembly elections.
