Following the Union Government’s directive in the wake of the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, the Hyderabad police have issued notices to four Pakistan nationals, instructing them to leave the country by Sunday.
The central government recently ordered all Pakistani nationals residing in India to exit the country after a terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam left several tourists dead. Hyderabad is home to approximately 213 Pakistani nationals, most of whom are staying on long-term visas granted earlier by the Indian government.
City police officials identified four Pakistani nationals currently residing on short-term visas and personally served them notices demanding their departure. For security reasons, authorities have refrained from disclosing the identities or locations of these individuals.

Security across Hyderabad has been heightened, and law enforcement agencies are keeping a close watch to ensure compliance with the government’s order. Officials confirmed that further action would be taken if the individuals failed to comply within the given timeline.
The move reflects the growing tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam massacre, which has triggered a series of reciprocal measures between the two nations, including the closure of borders, suspension of diplomatic ties, and the cancellation of visas.
