Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar issued an order against spreading rumors of any sort on Social Media.
The Commissioner in the order said, “It has come to my notice that some miscreants using social media like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, either as administrators or members of the group are spreading rumours on child kidnapping gangs or murderers in the city. This is causing disturbance to the public order of the society and also serious threat to the lives of innocent people”.
City Police Commissioner said that to take stringent and speedy measures to control the spread of such rumours. “Therefore, it is requested not to pass any such false messages thereby creating panic in the society for the purpose.
