The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has initiated a groundbreaking project to address the city’s growing parking woes by inviting tenders for a 27-car multi-level mechanised parking complex at KBR Park. Once completed, this state-of-the-art facility will be the first of its kind in Hyderabad, showcasing innovative solutions to urban parking challenges.
The proposed parking complex will employ a rotary type mechanism with six units, each capable of holding 12 cars, thereby accommodating a total of 72 vehicles. In addition to parking, 20% of the space has been earmarked for various amenities such as coffee vending kiosks, electric vehicle charging stations, and mini marts, making it a multifunctional facility.
This advanced system will include cutting-edge features like:
