I’ll Sacrifice Nagarjuna Sagar Seat For Jana Reddy If He Joins TRS: Nomula

Hyderabad: TRS leader Nomula Narsimhaiah today challenged that he would sacrifice his Nagarjuna Sagar seat if senior Congress leader K Jana Reddy accepts TRS “Kanduva” and campaign for the TRS in the ensuing elections.

Addressing media persons at Telangana Bhavan here today, Narsimhaiah criticized Jana Reddy for changing tune and adopting dual standards on what he had said in the Assembly. “If the TRS chief and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandraekhar Rao agrees, I will sacrifice my seat to Jana Reddy if he joins party and campaigns for the ruling party”, he said. The TRS will win a total of 12 Assembly seats by thumping majority in Nalgonda district in the coming elections, he said.

Since the people have confidence in the TRS for its historic welfare schemes and monumental development, this time the Congress would bite the dust not only in Nalgonda district but also in other districts. Having successfully convinced a total of 36 political parties in favour of separate Telangana State, KCR introduced several welfare schemes and spending huge funds.

The TRS will win more than 100 Assembly seats and KCR will be Chief Minister again, he asserted. It was evident that as Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Jana Reddy announced in the House that he would campaign for the TRS by taking party Kanduva if the TRS government provides 24-hour power to the farm sector.

Though it was known to all people, the Congress leader was reluctant to accept it for political mileage. Being a top leader of the Congress, Jana Reddy cannot indulge in such talk of escapism that he did not utter such words, he said. Narsimhaiah also ridiculed the Congress leader for feigning ignorance on his own comments and throwing a challenge to the TRS to prove its charge and he would quit politics if he was proved wrong.
