Imran Khan Slammed For “Sexist and Misogynistic” Comments Against Maryam Nawaz

As per the latest reports, After the former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan gave a shocking statement against PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz during his Multan address, politicians, journalists, and civil society individuals have reprimanded Khan for his “sexist and misogynist” remarks.

During his jalsa, Khan, alluding to Maryam’s Sargodha rally on May 19 in which she constantly censured him, said: “Somebody had sent me the discourse conveyed by Maryam Nawaz in Sargodha yesterday,” Geo News detailed.

“In that discourse, she expressed my name with such enthusiasm that I might want to tell her: Maryam, if it’s not too much trouble, be cautious, your significant other may fly off the handle since you were continually rehashing my name.”

Following his remarks, judgments began pouring in from government officials and civil society individuals via social media.

Taking to Twitter, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who likewise is Maryam’s fatherly uncle, communicated solid dissatisfaction with regards to Khan’s assertion and said that the whole country, particularly ladies, ought to firmly censure the “miserable language utilized against the little girl of the country Maryam Nawaz”.

Scolding Khan for his assertion against the PML-N VP, previous president Asif Ali Zardari said that he censured the offensive language utilized by the PTI director.
