Independence Day celebrated across the Hyderabad City with zeal and fervour in a magnificent manner. Residents of various localities and colonies unfurled the National flag and conducted programmes and functions to mark the 72nd Independence celebrations. In Dilshad Nagar, Reti Bowli, Mehdipatnam Independence Day Celebrations function was held by the Dilsad Nagar Youth & Welfare Association. Janab Mohammed Bande Ali, former Judge participated as Chief Guest and unfurled the Flag as National Anthem was sung by the participants. He remembers the sacrifices of our National Heroes for the Independence of our Nation and paid tribute to them. Janab Syed Akbar Hussain Chairman Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation, Janab Raheemullah Khan Niyazi TRS leader and Incharge Nampally Constituency, Janab Swami Sub Inspector of Asifnagar Police Station, Janab Mohammed Farooq President, Association, Janab Mohammed Salah Secretary, Janab Ali Siddiqui Member, Janab Mohammed Anwar and other office-bearers of the Society and the dwellers of the locality were also present. The children presented the patriotic poems.
