Independence Day Celebrations at SVP National Police Academy

Hyderabad: The 72nd Independence Day of our country was celebrated in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad, with great fanfare and enthusiasm. Mrs. D.R. Doley Barman, Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy unfurled the tri-colour and gave the Rashtriya Salute.

The Director reminded the 106 budding young IPS Probationers of 70 RR batch, 107 IPS Probationers of 69 RR batch undergoing their Phase-II Training, 6 Probationers from Bhutan, 5 Probationers from Nepal and 4 Probationers from Maldives currently undergoing their Basic Training in the Academy, that the primary duties of a true leader and effective officer are that of maintaining the highest standards of integrity and working with dedication at all times. The rigors of this tough service require firmness of mind and body. The Director called for setting an example before others by showing the highest degree of rectitude, perfection and truthfulness in their conduct. The Probationers took part in the colourful March Past which was witnessed by the Academy Faculty, staff, general public and their family members, apart from the students of SVP NPA Kendirya Vidyalaya.
