The Expo 2020 Dubai event has been long-awaited and the “India Pavilion” has already set its theme. The Centre on Thursday revealed that the India Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai will showcase the country’s march towards achieving its goal of becoming a $5 trillion economy in the post-Covid world.
India Pavilion To Showcase Country’s Fightback Against Covid 19
As per the statement released by Commerce Secretary B.V.R Subrahmanyam, the India Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai will showcase resurgent India’s to achieve the economy goal. He said that they will showcase India’s India’s “exceptional fightback against Covid 19”. Along with the country’s rise as the global business hub that is presenting huge opportunities for companies across the world.
Meanwhile, the India Pavilion will also showcase participation from the states. They will display their culture, tradition, and business opportunities along with some of the top corporate groups and public sector companies from India.
The Commerce Ministry said in a statement that the India Pavilion will be visited by a large number of prominent ministers, officials, and celebrities. Many of the cultural events will also take place throughout the six-months long event.
India Pavilion Will Be Divided In Two Parts
To showcase the country, the ministry revealed that the four-storey structure of the India Pavilion will be divided into two parts. The ministry informed that the zones are identified based on 11 themes. It includes Space, Urban and Rural Development, Golden Jubilee, Travel and Connectivity, Health and Wellness, Climate and Biodiversity, Tolerance and Inclusivity, Global Goals, Food Agriculture and Livelihoods, and Water.
Meanwhile, the Indian Pavilion will also host and co-create leadership discussions, seminars to explore opportunities to partner with other nations, and international trade conferences. The officials have described that event to leave a “permanent footprint” and is a testament of India’s close ties with the UAE.
The officials further revealed that the four-storey pavilion is built across a 0.5-hectare plot and is one of the largest at the Dubai South site.
