Jagadish Reddy Slams Sanjay for Jibe on CM

Minister G Jagadish Reddy today lashed out at the Centre for cheating the farmers and the BJP state president Bandi Sanjay for a misinformation campaign on paddy farmers.

Talking to press persons at Shamshabad Airport, the minister accused the BJP Government at the Centre of deceiving farmers of the state and across the state.

The minister slammed Sanjay for falsehood and misguiding the farmers and blaming the government. He dared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other ministers like Kishan Reddy and Piyush Goyal are inefficient in addressing the issues of the farmers. It is not wrong to ask the Centre to give a year wise target to get paddy, rice stocks from the state. The Modi regime failed to give clarity and people will teach it a lesson, he said.

The Centre is doing wrong things as it forces states to fix power motors at the wells for the farming activities. Our state government offers all support to farmers by offering 24-hour free power, canceling water cess, giving Rs 10000 an acre through rythu bandhu and Bhima. No other states are able to give as KCR Government supports the farmers, Jagadish Reddy claimed.

The TRS MPs are protesting at the parliament and ready for a debate, he said. The Centre should stop misguiding the farmers and give clarity on paddy procurement from Telangana, Jagadish Reddy demanded. The Centre has failed miserably to address the farmers’ issues which is a constitutional right, he charged. We have appealed repeatedly and the Centre yet to give clarity, he lamented. Though the Modi government finally agreed to repeal three farm laws, the farmers not trusting its policies, he charged.

He asked the BJP leaders to stop spreading falsehood on paddy procurement. The Centre has to give a letter on paddy procurement and Congress and the BJP should stop lying on the issue, he said.
