Jagne ki Raat: Three Minors Die in Tragic Accident on Dr Manmohan Singh Expressway

Three boys, all minors, tragically lost their lives in a horrific accident on the newly inaugurated Dr Manmohan Singh Expressway early Tuesday morning. The boys were on their way to attend the Jagne ki Raat prayers when the accident occurred.

The victims, identified as 14-year-olds Maaz and Ahmed, both eighth-grade students, and 16-year-old Imran, a tenth-grade student, were riding a bike when it veered out of control. The bike hit the median, causing the riders to crash into a central lighting pole.

The boys were reportedly riding a motorcycle owned by Maaz’s family, leaving their homes at around 12:30 am. They had informed their families that they were heading out to attend the night prayers. The tragic accident occurred near pillar number 53 on the flyover while they were on their way to Aramghar.

Passersby who witnessed the accident immediately alerted the authorities. Police reached the scene promptly and launched an investigation into the incident. They are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area to gather more details.

According to R. Raghunath, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Attapur Police Station, a case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for a post-mortem examination (PME).

The tragic accident has left the local community in shock, and the investigation will continue to determine the exact cause of the crash.
