Jithender slams Jayadev’s bifurcation jibe

Hyderabad: TRS MP Jithender Reddy today expressed displeasure at TD MP Galla Jayadev on bifurcation of the State and urged Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to remove such objectionable words from the records as they hurt the people of Telangana. He also took serious exception to Jayadev for spewing venom that bifurcation was done in an undemocratic and unscientific manner during debate in Parliament on No-Trust move he initiated. He said the House should take steps to remove immediately the words like “undemocratic” and “unscientific” with regard to bifurcation, he reiterated.
To this, the Speaker gave her nod in the House that witnessed an interesting debate on the no-trust move. Jithender Reddy said both the Congress and the BJP have taken the decision to bifurcate the State and purely in a democratic manner. The BJP-led NDA government at the Centre has failed to keep the bifurcation promises, he fumed. He also objected to Jayadev’s comments that Andhra Pradesh was newly formed and not Telangana State.

The MP also objected to Jayadeve for recalling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments that “Telugu Talli” was vertically split as the Congress killed the “mother and protected the child”.
