The speaker of the state assembly Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today said that the journalists of the state should also be recognized as frontline warriors.
He made these remarks after learning about the problem being faced by the journalists from the mouth of the TUWJ deputy general secretary Vishnudas Srikanth. Srikanth met with the speaker at his residence.

Speaking on the occasion pocharam also said that the journalists should also get all facilities like all other frontline warriors.
He asked the state government to take steps to prevent any health problems for the journalists. Srikanth told the speaker that the amount being given to the journalists affected by Covid 19 virus was not adequate to meet their expenses.

He also told the speaker that the health cards issued by the state government were not providing any benefits to them.
