In the latest reports, Kafeel Khan, a pediatrician who was among the accused in the 2017 BRD clinic case, has been booked for supposedly utilizing criminal power to dissuade a community worker from releasing his obligation after he “coercively entered” an emergency vehicle to look at a lady patient regardless of “complaints raised by the driver”.
Criminal Case Registered Against Khan
Khan, who is contesting in the MLC elections from the Deoria-Kushinagar seat on a Samajwadi Party (SP) ticket, has, notwithstanding, affirmed that the case is politically motivated. Patel asserted that after some time, Khan persuasively entered the ambulance and began really taking a look at the lady patient, making an obstacle in government work.

On March 28, Khan tweeted a video, in which he should be visible treating a patient inside an ambulance and afterward in the emergency clinic.
“I had taken a lady who had sustained wounds in a street mishap to the hospital. Whenever I was emerging from the emergency clinic, a young mentioned me to look at his mom lying inside the ambulance.
He said that the case registered against him is “politically motivated” as he is contesting elections.
“I see the case as the continuation of my harassment.”
