Hyderabad: AICC secretary V Hanumantha Rao has alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao neglecting achieving of assurances mentioned in the state division act.
Alleging that KCR is busy in promoting himself he said the chief minister and his son KT Ramarao were busy in praising each other where neighbouring state Andhra Pradesh was waging movement against centre to achieve the assurances. KCR failed to fulfill the assurances given by him yet and was deceiving the people with falsehoods, Rao said.
It was time to defeat KCR along with other opposition parties, the Congress leader said and asked the people to teach a fitting lesson to KCR in the coming panchayatraj elections. The Congress has to organize a huge public meeting with poor and backward class people against KCR, he opined.
The Congress party gives top priority to the poor and backward class people, he exhorted and said that he asked PCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy to give top priority to poor and backward class leaders in PCC working committee. “I am ready to talk to the leaders of other political parties on huge public meeting. I am telling with my long political experience that on some day a BC or dalith would become a Chief Minister from Congress party”, he opined. (NSS)
