Finally, on Dasara, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to launch Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) as a national party. The plan was made public for the first time at the party’s plenary meeting in April of this year.
Aside from that, he decided to purchase a chartered flight in order to promote his party across the country and meet leaders of various political parties in different states.
According to party sources, KCR will officially announce the formation of his new national party on October 5. All preparations for the formation of a new national party have been completed as he prepares to make a grand entrance into the country’s politics.
According to party sources, the Mahurat says that 1:19 p.m. on October 5 is auspicious as per the Mahurat and that is when KCR will announce the new party. KCR may invite leaders of other national parties on this occasion.
The party’s name, flag, and agenda have all been finalized. Rumors of changing TRS to ‘BRS’ are circulating. The party’s flag will be pink with a map of India on it.
In the midst of efforts by regional and non-BJP national parties to form an alliance to challenge the BJP, the BRS will seek to contest elections in other states as well, sources said.
After launching the party, KCR intends to tour the entire country in the party’s new jet. The party is willing to spend approximately Rs. 80 crores on a chartered flight with a capacity of 12 seats.
According to reliable sources, the TRS party leadership has decided to fund the cost of the chartered flight through donations from party leaders, despite having funds in excess of Rs 865 crore in the party coffers. If everything goes as planned, TRS will have the honor of having its own private jet.
