Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed his heartfelt condolences on the demise of the first phase separate Telangana Movement participant, popular writer and senior journalist Adiraju Venkateshwara Rao. The CM recalled and remembered his service to achieve the Telangana statehood as well as to Literary and Journalism fields.
The CM has conveyed his condolences to the members of bereaved family. Late Adiraju Venkateshwara Rao who belongs to Panditapuram Village of Khammam district played important role in the 1969 separate Telangana agitation. He authored number of books. Late Venkateshwara Rao who was unwell quite for sometime has undergone treatment in a private hospital till recently and was discharged couple of weeks ago. Telangana government recognizing his services and the pivotal role played by him in the 1969 agitation honoured him on this year Telangana state formation day. (NSS)
