KCR also accused the BJP and the Congress of playing dramas on their failures and blaming each other for the last 72 years. Since they failed to serve the nation efficiently, an alternative government at the Centre was indispensable, he said, adding that  Modi and Rahul Gandhi are hands in glove with AP CM Chandrababu and targeting us, he fumed. He said Mission Bhagiratha waters will reach houses of the poor and Kaleshwaram and Devadula will address irrigation need. He said the government was firm to fulfill the aspirations of people, he said, adding that some 10 lakh acres in Nalgonda will be brought under irrigation. The Centre has said that Telangana was no 1 in per capita income and power usage and credit goes to hard work and coordination of officials he said.

The Chief Minister said the Rythu Bandhu scheme was being applauded at national level giving Rs 4,000 per acre will be increased to Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000 a year. The scheme was being proudly replicated by the Centre and several other States, he said. He also appealed to the farmers and people to deny bribe to any officials as the government will soon bring a new Revenue Act to be appreciated by the Centre. All the land disputes and issues will be resolved through the new Act, he said, adding that the farmers will have hassle-free pass books with owners’ name. Food processing units, crop colonies and marketing facilities will be provided to the farmers to benefit through a model policy, he added. “Voting to BJP and Congress will not help the State as we should not become slaves to Modi and Rahul Gandhi. Whatever Modi and Rahul say their leaders in States will follow and the leaders have to make it to Delhi”, he said.

Not eyeing PM’s  post: KCR
“I am not eyeing the Prime Minister’s seat,” Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao declared categorically on Tuesday.
Chandrashekhar Rao’s remark on his disinterest in the Prime Minister’s post came after Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, in his speech, pointed out that any person, who addressed public meetings at the Azam Jahi Mills ground went on to become the Prime Minister and cited the examples of Jawaharlal Nehru and P V Narasimha Rao. The Minister went on to say that Chandrashekhar Rao would also follow in the same footsteps.(NSS)
