Hyderabad: Former minister and Congress leader Danam Nagender today joined the TRS fold in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. KCR welcomed Nagender and his followers, including some women, with “Pink shawls” at Telangana Bhavan along with Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali, Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy, Ministers Padma Rao Goud, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and others.
Later, the Chief Minister assured good opportunities and better future for Danam Nagender in the ruling party as the senior and junior leaders will work together for achieving golden Telangana. Some more leaders are likely to join the ruling party and the State will go ahead on growth trajectory for achieving inclusive growth. “Our aim is to achieve all-round development and work for the welfare of all sections”, he added.
