Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s sister Leelamma died in a private hospital here on Monday. With this, the Chief Minister abruptly concluded his Delhi trip and returned home by flight at 1 pm.
Leelamma, who has been undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital for some time, breathed her last and her body was shifted to her residence. KCR’s wife Shobha, Minister T Harish Rao and other family members visited the hospital and paid tributes. IT Minister K T Rama Rao, who was at Rajanna-Siricilla district cancelled his program and returned home.
