Kerala team impressed with social welfare residential schools

Hyderabad: A team led by Kozhikode MLA in Kerala Pradeep Kumar visited social welfare residential schools in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.

Speaking on the occasion, Pradeep Kumar said, “Excellent leadership and communication skills showcased by the students, bears testimony to the quality of education being provided to poor students in social welfare residential schools”. He also said he was impressed with programs like Super Students Lecture Series, E-Plus Clubs, Operation Blue Crystal, Voice for Girls and Flipped class teaching.

“All the educational institutions in the country must adopt these best practices, because such practices would really help students in becoming the global citizens of the 21st century. It is high time that we need to move away from the traditional methods of teaching, and the TSWREI Society took a lead in the right direction and has been revolutionizing the way quality education need to be made accessible to the needy children.

“It is truly remarkable that TSWREIS has been working a vision to help the first-generation learners from extremely impoverished communities enter into the elite institutions like IITs, NITs, medical colleges and prestigious universities in the country, besides equipping the children with leadership and communication skills”, the team members echoed”, he added.

The team members met Dr RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary and appreciated him for introducing a number of innovative programs for the educational uplift of marginalized children. Dr RS Praveen Kumar thanked the State government for its support and encouragement. (NSS)
