Khloe Kardashian Praises Shah Rukh Khan’s Historic Met Gala 2025 Debut

Shah Rukh Khan made a show-stopping debut at the Met Gala 2025, becoming the first male Bollywood actor to attend the prestigious event. His presence not only turned heads on the red carpet but also earned high praise from global celebrities, including Khloe Kardashian, who expressed her admiration on Snapchat.

Khloe shared multiple snaps lauding SRK’s appearance, calling him “King Khan” and praising his designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, for blending Indian craftsmanship with the gala’s global theme. “I loved seeing King Khan at The Met. He’s the first male Bollywood actor to ever attend,” she wrote. “I first learned about him when I visited India with Kim last year.”

The reality TV star continued her admiration in another slide: “He looked amazing and it’s so great to see how talented designers incorporate elements of their own culture and fashion from around the world with the theme of the event.” She highlighted the Indian menswear influences in his outfit and expressed love for his signature ‘K’ necklace, writing, “And of course I’m a fan of the K necklace. King Khan.”

Shah Rukh Khan’s Met Gala look included an all-black ensemble designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. He wore a long coat made of Tasmanian wool, a silk crepe de chine shirt, and superfine wool trousers. The outfit was accessorized with a pleated satin kamarbandh and layered necklaces, most notably featuring a diamond-studded ‘K’ pendant, symbolizing his enduring title.

Khloe’s admiration stems from her 2024 trip to India with sister Kim Kardashian, when they attended the opulent wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Their experience, showcased in Season 6 of The Kardashians, introduced them to India’s celebrity culture, including their first encounter with Shah Rukh Khan.

SRK’s groundbreaking appearance at the Met Gala has not only been celebrated in India but has also sparked international conversations about the global reach of Indian cinema and fashion.
