As part of his criticism of the police for serving a notice to Huzurabad BJP MLA Eatala Rajender in the SSC Hindi question paper leak case, Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy demanded the notice be immediately withdrawn.
The Warangal police have issued Eatala Rajender a notice under 160 CrPc and directed him to appear at the DCP office at 11 a.m. on Friday to record his statement.
Kishan Reddy, speaking at a press conference at the BJP State office here on Thursday, claimed the police were unnecessarily dragging Eatala into the matter. “Just because he received a question paper through WhatsApp he is being framed in the case. In that case everyone who has received the WhatsApp message should be booked. This is nothing but vendetta politics,” he alleged.
The Union Minister slammed the BRS party for giving a call to organise a protest during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city on April 8 and said that the BRS leadership in order to insult the Prime Minister was doing a political stunt.
