Komatireddy Orders Demolition of BRS Office in Nalgonda

Minister for Roads and Buildings Komtireddy Venkat Reddy has directed officials to dismantle the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) office, citing unauthorized construction on government land. The move comes amidst ongoing political turbulence for the BRS in recent times.

The directive was issued by the Minister following his participation as the chief guest at the inauguration of an electricity sub-station in Nalgonda, where he also oversaw the swearing-in ceremony of Kumbham Srinivas Reddy as chairman of Nalgonda DCCB.

During his address, Minister Venkat Reddy emphasized the need to remove the BRS party office, which allegedly stands on government land valued at Rs 2 crore. The municipal commissioner confirmed that multiple notices had been served to the BRS leadership regarding this matter.

In other announcements, the state government pledged to waive crop loans up to Rs 2 lakh by August 15, amounting to a total of Rs 32,000 crore. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to expedite measures for the loan waiver, emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting farmers and ensuring every paisa is utilized for their benefit.
