IT and Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao today felicitated traffic SI Ilaiah and constable Venkateshwarlu for collecting challans from his vehicle.
He invited the traffic staff to his chamber and greeted them for discharging duties.
The Minister paid challan amount to the traffic police for doing their duty and imposing fine on his convoy vehicle for coming in a wrong route at Langarhouse area on October 2.
The Minister said that the vehicle came in the wrong way while returning after paying tributes to Gandhiji at Bapu Ghat on October 2. I was not there in the vehicle, it went on the wrong route, he noted.

The Minister said that he will support such officials for discharging their duties. Same rules should be applied to Ministers, public representatives and common people, KTR said. The Minister said that the TRS leaders should follow traffic rules and pay challans if they violate norms.
