Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA &UD) Minister, KT Rama Rao today inaugurated two ramps at PVNR Express Highway in Upparpally crossroads near Attapur Crossroads in the city.
The two ramps will ease traffic jams and pave the easy way for vehicles and people. With this, the total number of ramps increased to eight at the location which has six now and eases traffic jams.
Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has constructed the two ramps at a cost of Rs 22 crores at the Athapur area near Mehdipatnam.

The ramps will help free movement of traffic and avoid traffic jams besides paving an easy way for the people get on to other roads.
They can be used to move on to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Mehdipatnam, and others. Those coming from the airport to reach Hitech City have to get down at Upparpally and move towards Toli Chowki, IT Corridor, and other locations.
Similarly, the people can use the second ramp at Upparpally to reach the Airport via PVNR Express highway.
Constructed at Athapur at pillar number 164, the two ramps will help those people at Rajendranagar, Budwel, Upparpally, and nearby areas.
