KTR opens Jamp Pharma in Genome Valley, 200 people to get jobs

Telangana IT & Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday inaugurated the Jamp Pharmaceuticals in Genome Valley.

“It is the first facility of Jamp Pharmaceuticals Private Limited outside Canada in @GenomeValley, Hyderabad. The facility is designed to cater to solid oral dosage form, powders, topics, nasal delivery, and liquid oral pharmaceutical products for regulated markets,” KTR said.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR thanked the management of Jamp Pharmaceuticals for choosing their first destination in Hyderabad, outside Canada, and assured the company to extend all support on behalf of the State government for their operations.

Jamp Pharmaceuticals is being established at the cost of Rs 250 crore and total employment would be some 200 people.

Stating that the Genome Valley continues to be the most investing attractive destination for companies all around the world, the IT Minister said the Life Sciences in Hyderabad has reached the stage of 50 billion dollars industry and it is expected to be reached 100 billion dollars by the year of 2030.

“This is a testament to the overall ecosystem for life sciences in Telangana and also the pro-business policies of the Telangana Government,” KTR said, adding that Hyderabad continues to consolidate its leadership position in life sciences. Genome Valley continues to be the most preferred investment destination for companies globally, he said. Jamp Pharma SVP Sukhand Juneja, Industries Principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan, TSIIC VC and MD Narsimha Reddy, Life Sciences Director Shakti Nagappan and others were present.
