Hyderabad: Municipal Minister KTR and Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy today caught in a verbal dual on municipalities development and funds.
KTR asked the MLA Komatireddy not to resort to heroism with mike in the house. During zero hour in the Assembly, Rajgopal Reddy alleged that the government did not release funds for municipalities’ development.
He charged that the government did not give funds for basic facilities and infrastructure in Chundur and Chautuppal municipalities. On this, the minister reacted seriously and denied the MLA comments as baseless.
There is no truth in the legislator’s comments as the government releases Rs 138 cr funds regularly under the Pattana Pragati program. On this, they exchanged heated words and the minister asked MLA to stop doing heroism.
KTR said We are offering needed funds for municipalities development and works will be completed as planned the minister said.
