TRS working president and Minister KT Rama Rao today urged the party leaders and activists not to come to the city on July 24 to wish him on his birthday due to rains.
In a statement, the minister said that since the rains are lashing out the districts and the city for some days he will not participate in the birthday event. As the rains fall for a few more days the program will not be conducted to mark his birthday.
The TRS workers, leaders from districts should not come to visit him in the city KTR clarified. Remain in the districts and help the people affected by rains in the field, the minister said.

Since the rains causing havoc the TRS leaders can participate in rescue operations to help rain victims. Also, they can attend plantation programs and provide help to those affected to rains he said.
I am not meeting anyone and the TRS leaders not to think otherwise in this regard, he further said. The minister said that the Gift a Smile program will be conducted to give tricycles to physically challenged persons at a later date.
The program will be announced to give the vehicles to the disabled people he added.
