Hyderabad: TRS working president KT Rama Rao today said they will develop the ruling party as cadre-based and strengthen it in all villages, mandals and districts.
Talking to membership in-charges of the party at Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, KT Rama Rao appealed to them to see that the TRS win all the seats in the forthcoming civic body polls. “Conduct the membership by July 10 in all the villages, mandals and districts in the State”, he said. After the membership drive, the leaders have to focus on committees to have 51 per cent party representation in SC, ST and BC categories for the polls.
KTR also slammed the BJP for its comments against the State government and the TRS party. The leaders at all levels should strongly turn down the false campaign of the BJP, he said. KTR also asked the party leaders to make use of social media for campaigning. The TRS will be developed as a cadre based party and the leaders have to coordinate to take the welfare schemes and development programs to the doorsteps of the people. He said combined efforts are needed to fight the upcoming civic body polls and ensure pink flag fluttered. He said the membership drive has to be conducted in a perfect manner and help the people by addressing their issues. (NSS)
