Hyderabad: The leaders of Prajakutami cast their votes across the State on Friday. TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy cast his vote at a polling station at Kodad. Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) president M. Kodandaram cast his vote at a polling station in Tarnaka along with his family members. Former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy exercised his franchise at Nalgonda Public school along with his family members. His daughter cast her vote for the first time.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Kumar Reddy said he was happy that the voters were coming out voluntarily to cast their votes. Another former minister and party candidate from Jagtial Assembly segment T. Jeevan Reddy cast his vote at a polling station located in a junior college in Jagtiyal town along with his family members. Jeevan Reddy alleged that the ruling TRS party leaders were spending ill-gotten money to influence the voters. He also said the local police remained mute spectators.
Jeevan Reddy exuded confidence that he would win the elections once again with the blessings of the people of the State. TDP candidate from Kukatpally Assembly segment, Nandamuri Suhasini cast her vote at a polling booth in Humayun Nagar under Nampally Assembly constituency. Former Home Minister Sabita Indrareddy also cast her vote in Maheswaram Assembly constituency. TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar cast his vote at United English medium public school located in Kashmir Gadda locality of Karimnagar town. Ponnam alleged that the rival party leaders are canvassing for their respective political parties by wearing their party’s attire. (NSS)
